The Engineering Technology Research Institute of CNPC Western Drilling arrived at Xi'an Shijia Motor Co., Ltd. for a visit.

The Engineering Technology Research Institute of CNPC Western Drilling specializes in drilling, cementing, well completion, acidizing and fracturing, downhole operations, and other engineering operations; technical services for oil testing and production testing; oil production technology; oilfield chemicals and tubing repair; scientific research and consulting services, process technology research and application development; drilling engineering design, fracturing design, and oil testing design; foreign economic and technological cooperation; manufacturing and sales of specialized petroleum equipment, appliances, and chemical products (excluding hazardous chemicals).

On October 15, 2024, a delegation of key leaders and researchers from the Research and Development Center of CNPC Western Drilling Engineering Technology Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "CNPC Western Drilling R&D Center") visited Xi'an Shijia Motor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shijia Motor") for in-depth discussions and exchanges on technical cooperation, innovative research and development, and industrial applications.

The visit aimed to deepen cooperation between the two parties in fields such as new energy technologies, intelligent upgrades of drilling equipment, and high-efficiency motor drive systems, jointly promoting the innovation and development of China's petroleum drilling technologies. As an important scientific research institution in the field of petroleum drilling technology in China, CNPC Western Drilling R&D Center possesses profound technical accumulation and rich practical experience.

At 9 a.m., the delegation from CNPC Western Drilling R&D Center, accompanied by leaders from Shijia Motor, toured the company's production line, R&D center, and laboratories, gaining a detailed understanding of Shijia Motor's latest achievements in motor drive technology, automation control systems, and intelligent manufacturing. During the tour, technical personnel from both sides engaged in heated discussions on points of technical interest, jointly exploring how to apply these advanced technologies in the petroleum drilling field to enhance operational efficiency and safety.

At the subsequent symposium, the head of the CNPC Western Drilling R&D Center stated, "In the face of new challenges and opportunities in the energy industry, technological innovation is the inexhaustible driving force for our sustained development. Shijia Motor's demonstrated expertise and innovative spirit in the field of motor technology provide us with a valuable opportunity for cooperation.
